Who We Are
A 501(c)(3) youth-led non-profit
Before Skaters Help Skaters became what it is today, it had just been a grassroots, youth-led effort to provide high quality off-ice training to those who did not have the resources for it. In many rinks in the U.S., skaters often lack enough consistent supplemental training to go with the hours they put on the ice.
Today, we have expanded our initiatives to not only provide off-ice lessons, but to also educate aspiring skaters on what they can do to be at their best.

Our Mission
At Skaters Help Skaters, we champion the empowerment of all figure skaters. Through our online webinars and lessons, we aim to bridge the gap in resources those who can train in elite environments have compared to those who don't have as much privilege.
As young athletes, we all want to achieve our dreams. In figure skating, it takes more than on-ice practices to succeed. Many factors such as technique, diet, off-ice training, physical conditioning, and practice structure all come into play. For many of us, there is a lot to learn and apply.
Lastly, apart from the things we can do on our own to improve, being surrounded by a good community is also important for success. Having a solid support system is crucial for preserving passion while navigating challenges.
As such, Skaters Help Skaters stays true to these values for success: learning, effort, and community. The team of Skaters Help Skaters strives to help young aspiring skaters like us reach their potential and get closer to making their dreams a reality.
